Who we are

ZeroToVisa (zerotovisa.com) is run from Kathmandu, Nepal. For anything about your data, write to hello@zerotovisa.com.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal details when you give them to us.

• Checklist PDF form: your name, your email address and/or WhatsApp number, when you plan to go (optional), which checklist you asked for, the page you were on, and any campaign tags in the link you used (for example utm_source).
• Your consent: we save the wording you agreed to together with your details.
• Emails you send us: your address and what you write.
• Reading the website needs no account and no form. We do not ask for passport numbers, bank details or any other identity documents. Please never send them to us.

Why we use it

We do not sell your details and we do not share them for advertising.

• To send or unlock the checklist PDF you asked for.
• To contact you about that checklist and related visa guidance, as you agreed when you ticked the box.
• To understand which guides help people, so we can improve them.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of services to run the site. They only process data on our behalf.

• Vercel hosts the website and provides our visit counts (Vercel Web Analytics). Like any host, it keeps technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
• Google Sheets (Google Workspace) stores the details you submit in the checklist form.
• Email provider: if you write to hello@zerotovisa.com, your message is stored with our email provider.
• WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, your chat is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and we can see your number and what you write.

Cookies and your browser

• Download cookie: after you submit the form we set one small cookie that lets your browser download the PDF for 24 hours. It contains no personal details.
• Saved ticks: the progress you tick on a checklist is stored in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
• We do not use advertising cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not identify you personally.

How long we keep it

We keep your form details while you may still want our help, and delete them when you ask. If you have not been in touch for 24 months we will delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, stop contacting you, or delete it. Write to hello@zerotovisa.com from the email address you used, and we will reply within 30 days. If you gave us a WhatsApp number only, tell us the number.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The checklist PDFs are not public files: they are released only after the form is completed. We limit who can open the sheet that holds your details. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we store to a minimum.

Our guides link to official government websites. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Children

Our checklists are written for adults and for families. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and its date. Material changes will also be sent to people who gave us their email address.
