Before the appointment

Schengen visa applications are taken on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am to 2pm.

Money and insurance

It is checked again at the border.
Common mistake: Older guides still say €30 a day. Finland raised it to €50 from 1 January 2024.
