  1. Plan your trip

    Know your dates and where you will stay. You may apply up to six months before.

  2. Buy insurance and show money

    Travel insurance of at least €30,000 valid across the Schengen area, and SEK 700 a day plus your return trip.

  3. Submit at VFS Kathmandu

    VFS receives your application and sends it to the embassy in New Delhi.

  4. Wait for the decision

    The embassy normally decides within 15 days of receiving it.
