Study in Australia

Australian universities and colleges for Nepali students

Last verified

Choosing where to study in Australia is as important as choosing the country. This page lists universities and colleges by type, with each tuition fee linked to the page it came from.

How to use this page

  • Start with the tab that matches your goal: a degree at a public or private provider, or a diploma at a college.
  • Read the source line on each card, and open it for your course.
  • Check scholarship rules. Some awards are automatic and some are closed or limited.

Your visa funds depend on your course length, so see our Australia cost guide before you decide.

Universities and colleges

How we chose these

Public universities: chosen from the top of the QS World University Rankings 2027 among Australian universities, and only where an official page gives a fee we could read. UNSW is left out because its fee page was too long to read reliably. Private and college tabs: no major ranking covers them, so we list providers whose official page shows a clear fee. This is not a recommendation: many other Australian universities accept Nepali students.

Fees depend on the course, the year you start and your fee status. They are not a quote. Open the source link and confirm with the university before you apply.

Publicly funded universities. Fees are for international students, in Australian dollars, and each card says which level and year it covers.

Common questions

Why are some tuition fees shown as a range?
Fees depend on the course and the year you start. A range shows the lowest and highest fee on the official page we used, so open the source link for your course.
Are these the best universities for Nepali students?
No. The public list follows one published ranking where we could read the fee, and the other lists show providers with a clear fee on an official page. The right choice depends on your course, grades, budget and goals.
Why do some colleges show a fee for the whole course?
Diploma and private providers often publish the total course fee, not a yearly one. The card says which it is, so compare carefully before you decide.
Do I need a CoE from these providers?
Yes. Your Student visa application needs a Confirmation of Enrolment from a provider registered to teach international students. Check that the course you want is registered.
