Study in Canada

Canadian universities and colleges for Nepali students

Last verified

Choosing where to study in Canada is as important as the study permit itself. This page lists universities and colleges, with each fee linked to the page it came from.

How to use this page

  • Start with the tab that matches your goal: a degree at a university, or a diploma at a college.
  • Public universities are grouped by the university group they belong to.
  • Read the minimum entry line on each card. It says whether the rule names Nepal. Where it does not, check with the institution.
  • Read the source line on each card, and open it for your program.

Your study-permit funds depend on your situation, so see our Canada cost guide before you decide.

Universities and colleges

How we chose these

Public universities are grouped by the university group they belong to. The U15 member names come from a public listing, because the group's own page could not be read. We show the universities whose fees and entry rules we have checked. Colleges are listed with the fee for one example program, because college fees depend on the program. No private universities are listed yet because we found no clear fee page. This is not a recommendation: Canada has many more universities and colleges that accept Nepali students, and every study permit also needs a provincial attestation letter. See our Canada student visa guide.

Fees depend on the course, the year you start and your fee status. They are not a quote. Open the source link and confirm with the university before you apply.

Publicly funded universities. Fees are in Canadian dollars for international students, and each card says which year and campus it covers.

Common questions

Why do Canadian fees look so different between universities and colleges?
Universities usually charge per credit and per program, so a first year can cost much more than a college diploma. Each card shows what its fee covers and where it comes from.
Are these the best universities for Nepali students?
No. The lists show institutions whose fees and entry rules we could read on official pages. The right choice depends on your course, grades, budget and goals.
Do I need anything besides an admission letter for the study permit?
Yes. Most applicants also need a provincial attestation letter. Check our Canada student visa guide before you pay a deposit.
Why is there no private university tab?
We found no private university with a clear fee page yet. We list none rather than guess.
